Flight of the Concords is an HBO series about two New Zealand musicians trying to make it big in New York City. During the show, the plot is moved along by numerous short music skits/videos which are themed to whatever is going on at the time.
At times funny, but mostly just strange, it's the latest "thing" on HBO Canada.

Thanks! I figured there had to be more to the story than just what shows in the short videos. Yes, a lot of strangeness, in the sort of 'this is so strange I can't believe I'm watching it and I can't believe I can't NOT watch it" LOL.
